An Introduction to Scotland’s Most Famous Export.

Whisky…the water of life and, without doubt, one of Scotland’s finest exports. Let us formally introduce you to the amber dram and you can see for yourself what makes it so special.

Whisky, the water of life and without doubt, one of Scotland’s finest exports.

Our first stop is the Deanston distillery. Here you will enjoy the distillery tour before sipping 2 different drams before heading off to the most unique of all Scotland’s distilleries.

The Glengoyne distillery is located on the Highland Line which divides the Highlands & Lowlands. The distillery produces Highland single malt whisky, which is matured in the Lowlands, due to the maturing casks being stored on the other side of the Highland line, across the road from the distillery in the lowlands. Here you will enjoy 2 more drams, one to warm you up at the start, and another at the end.

After sampling the national drink it’s time to savour the local food. The nearby Beech Tree restaurant is the perfect location for lunch. Here you can enjoy homecooked food made from locally sourced ingredients.

Our day ends at Auchentoshen which is a Lowlands distillery where after the tour, you will have one last dram and a whisky & pale ale cocktail, bringing your day to a wonderful end.
