Day 1: Journey to the Isles
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the Scottish Highlands, where rugged mountains and shimmering lochs set the scene. Along the way, we’ll pass the stunning Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park before arriving in the picturesque coastal town of Oban. Here, you can soak in breathtaking views and enjoy fresh seafood before boarding the ferry to the Isle of Mull.
Upon arrival, we travel through Mull’s stunning landscapes, passing ancient castles, dramatic cliffs, and wildlife hotspots. We’ll settle into our accommodation for a relaxing evening.
Day 2: Sacred Iona & Stunning Staffa
Today, we take the short ferry crossing to the Isle of Iona, a place steeped in history. Walk in the footsteps of St Columba at Iona Abbey, explore the island’s serene beaches, and feel the spiritual essence of this remarkable location.
For those seeking adventure, an optional boat trip takes you to the Isle of Staffa, where the breathtaking Fingal’s Cave awaits. Marvel at its hexagonal basalt columns and, in the right season, see puffins nesting along the cliffs.
Day 3: Return Through the Highlands
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Mull and take the ferry back to the mainland. Our journey back to Glasgow or Edinburgh will include stops at some of Scotland’s most stunning locations, including historic castles and tranquil lochs, before concluding this unforgettable tour.
