Tour Guide Scotland is owned and run by husband and wife team James and Lesley Kennedy.

James has a background in travel and tourism, having worked firstly as a holiday rep in Turkey and then as an entertainment manager in one of the biggest hotel resorts in Gran Canaria.

Lesley is a retired Scottish Police Officer with a keen interest in photography that has taken her to some of the most scenic locations in Scotland.

Both James & Lesley are passionate about all things Scotland and take great pride in guiding visitors from all around the world, making sure that their visit is one they will never forget.

We were lucky enough to do a day trip in Scotland with James. We all loved him (70 to 6). We enjoyed a one day distillery tour with Tour Guide Scotland in August of 2023. Our experience could not have gone better! From initial contact through the day of the tour, everything was great. Lesley picked us up at our hotel (3 couples) and led us on a day long tour through the lovely Scottish countryside. We toured several distilleries and had a nice lunch at a fine old country pub.
